Earring Tales: Eire

This was an experiment with tiny bugles, to see if they’d work as an earring base as well as the 12-mm ones I normally use. They were a little more persnickety to handle getting the base sewed together – smaller beads, less to grip – but otherwise they worked rather well.

Outside of that I just played with various shades of green, with bronze iris beads as an accent. End result: a little chunkier than I would have liked as an earring, but I do like the combination of greens. Seed beads definitely seem to make less jagged drops than Delicas, unless you get lucky.
