Count Taka update – proof copy on order

The cover art revisions worked! CreateSpace took everything laaaaate last night, and I’ve ordered the proof copy to check over. This morning they said that was mailed, and I should have that in my hands by sometime next week.

After that, I’ll need a few days to check it over, and if everything’s okay, will approve it for sale! Meaning I should indeed be able to have Count Taka available by the end of the month. Whew!

(I hate missing deadlines, even my own!)

Going to fall over for a bit. Nerves!

    1. 🙂 Me, too! Next time I’ve got to be sure I read the cover requirements on CreateSpace before I get text put on an image; they’d changed their requirements just a little from last year, and that took a bit to fix!

  1. JOY! I can’t wait, I’ve been hyped about this ever since I tried to follow a mention about it and ended up finding a short blurb on the NaNoWriMo site. I was super excited to see that it was going to be the next book out, and I can’t wait to read it!

      1. Ooof. Yeah; I prefer paper, too. For a lot of reasons. Two of the main ones? 1) Hurricanes and thunderstorms. Where I am, we’ve had power knocked out for literally weeks at a time.
        2) Noise. Sometimes even the blower motor of a comp just drives me up the way. Paper books are nice and quiet.

Huh. Think there’s any way you could get together with a group of people and get multiple copies sent to cut down on individual shipping?

  2. Hurray! Can’t wait, I’m really looking forward to seeing this one. (That intro you posted on AO3 made me terribly curious. *grins*)

      1. Awesome. Looking forward to that. Might just pick up an actual paperback copy of A Net of Dawn and Bones at the same time too, since I’d been traveling and had no choice but to get the kindle version when it first came out… And I really do prefer paper, when I can get my hands on it. Is amazon the only place for people to buy your books, or do you have a direct site or source to offer up?

      2. I don’t have a direct site yet, but I do list some on eBay (I’m violet_grower there) if you want a signed copy. Need to earn a little more money coming in before I can afford a monthly site fee…. 🙂

Re own site – email me. I’ll talk to Dad about it. He might have ideas (and cheap hosting capability).
