  1. Squee.

    >Gods know I’ve bounced enough attacks off his skull to teach him.>
Somehow I expect that Vincent is going to be bouncing a few more attacks off Kirito’s skull for the mental stunt he pulled at the end of the chapter.

    >I’m going to kill Beniryuu.>
Join the club, Stheno. They have sweaters.

Tae read the details, jaw dropping farther and farther. “You… you carry these in your coat?”

Hey you never know when you might need to drop a berserk Owlbear in it’s tracks. Also I suspect his ring helps prevent him from keeling over from contact with this stuff.

    >There was an awful feeling of absence, and he was going to be so angry about that later->
Probably not as angry as the rest of the crew when A: They find out what he did to himself and B: that he ran off after the fight potentially without opening the box and putting his mind back together.

    1. Many, many more attacks….

And yes, the ring definitely helps with that. Plus by now he’s just built up a tolerance. It’s probably pretty scary….

Heh. There will be other reasons to worry, poor guys.

    2. >They have sweaters> What do you think the odds are for one of the crafters having made up a bunch of coffee mugs reading ‘Kill Kayaba Club’? It’d be a popular item among the clearers.

  2. Literally every time you have an announcement about a new chapter I scarper over to either the link or my email to read it. The first thing that comes up in my head is “Bye! Back later!”

  3. I think I spotted something very scary in the chapter. Tae seems to have rewritten memories. Hacker is a term everyone knows in gaming.EVERYONE!! If she’s a player .. If she’s a NPC, that’s a different story altogether.

    1. There may be players from Aincard itself. I think that’s where we’re getting the extra ten thousand players. So the players who are being given a familial relationship with ‘NPCs’? Probably are from Aincard.

    1. “When I get back to my real family, I wish they’d respect me like that. Even just a little.”

One explanation is that no, they do not. Not only that, but they may be interacting with computer puppet versions of their real family. For various reasons, I think this is the correct explanation.
