Earring Tales: Lilac Diamonds

In one of my latest bead orders, I actually got a small sample of a color as a free gift. Of course I had to do something with it….

It’s the center red-purple ones that I got a sample of. I decided purple was the theme to go with, so used an edge of frost violet and lilac satin (a silk-finish bead) for the chevrons.

It’s tricky getting them angled just right in the sun to show off the silk finish in a photograph, but I do love the effect. 🙂

I think the sample color may be a neon purple. It’s definitely Delica and color-lined. I’ll have to poke around and try to find out what it is exactly, because I like how this came out.
