Apparently I really need bright sun for these pics to come out right. Which… varies in it availability, depending on when the thunderclouds decide to boil up. Go figure.

For the lighting, could you get a desk lamp, use a white light bulb, and position it to shine on your work? It would give you a consistent lighting, and if you filtered it through something like butchers paper or parchment paper it should help avoid too sharp of a glare on the beads. A card board box with squares cut out of it with whatever diffusing paper you use and white poster paper on the final side and rising up the bottom to give you a white background should give you an easier way to control the light situations. Your work is always so lovely.

Colors on both do pop better with decent lighting.
Through getting that sometimes can be tricky. For somewhere called the Sunshine State . . . .
