…So how’d it work?
As oft happens, I was playing with some new bead colors – Fusion Beads recently got a bunch of color-lined Delicas I haven’t seen elsewhere. I didn’t expect this combo to give as much of a “submarine” impression as it did. Only a sub on the tropical surface, apparently. 🙂

I like it! I do think ‘Nautilus’ upon seeing them, but not automatically steampunk.
On the other hand before you pointed it out it never really occurred to me that Jules Verne and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea were kind of the proto-example of steampunk, so what do I know?
