I’m told I need more potassium in my diet. So recently I tried kiwis.

Verdict: Tasty if they’re still hard, otherwise too overripe-banana for me.

The copper-lined olive beads reminded me of the green near kiwi skin, so. 🙂

  1. I like kiwifruit.
    I usually avoid eating the fuzzy skins for texture reasons, but kiwi can be eaten whole. Golden kiwi is sweeter and milder than the usual green, so probably not your preference if you like them better hard and sour.
    The earrings don’t remind me much of kiwi… probably I associate the white core and black seeds color contrast almost as much as the green and brown of the rest of the kiwifruit with kiwi. Like the eyespots on peacock feathers.
    But that olive color is lovely.

  2. Cucumber is more my impression. Kiwis are delicious, if they are ripe enough. I think they get classified as a “berry”, iirc?

    Often need to stand a week, because they get shipped so green.

    This, and the whole “lost in translation” snip from a few days ago reminded me of a german joke… Let’s see if it translates…

    Two people walking along notice berry bushes nearby. What kind of berries are those, one asks. Blueberries, the other answers. But, why are they red? Because the berries are still green… (unripe).
