These blues are trickier than they look.
The edge beads are called steel blue, and just looking at them alone you’d think they had a green overtone.
You would be wrong.
It took a lot of “hold the vial next to other colors to try and figure out why nothing works”, but it turns out the steel blue Duracoat beads actually have faint overtones of purple.
Purple. Not green. Not at all green.
Therefore, true-blues to violet-blues were called for. Oy….
Heh. Yeah that’s entirely the other side of the color wheel there.
