Earring Tales: Cheetah Gold

I wanted to do some warmer colors to cheer up.

Oddly enough, the edge is galvanized light gold. Yet next to the silver-lined light orange and the rainbow light topaz it looks almost silvery. Huh. I didn’t expect that effect.

Does it work, or should I have tried for a darker gold for an overall warm effect?

As for the name – well, I was looking over the finished pair and thinking it gave an impression of cheetahs “as seen in anime”. As in, a little less pale-tawny, a little more true-gold. 🙂
