Wildflower!
Pretty sure this is called some kind of native flax; roommate found it uprooted by someone weeding, brought it home and nursed it. I think it’s as pretty as a lot of conventional garden plants.
This is a cultivated fern. Of some kind. We’re not sure exactly what conditions it likes, so we end up taking it inside when it gets too hot or cold for it. So far it’s survived!
Ha! The cedar waxwings missed a mulberry!
(I’m not exactly sure when they pulled out, but I think they’ve been gone about a week or so. Pretty much when the trees were done producing their main crop.)
This – well, I just thought the play of light and shadow on the azalea was neat. 🙂
