Someone was going through a bead stash, and found exactly 8 long, red-purple bugles. 8. Exactly. A decent set of earrings takes 14, in general, if you want to match either the base or the drops in both sides.
So what the heck could I do with just 8 bugles?
….I decided on a punk rock approach.
Pink, purple, more pink and more purple. And improvising with the straight pink bugles to get the right length, since that’s the only size of them I have.
So. This is one of a pair of currently unique earrings, given I have no idea where or when I might find more bugles of this color. I think it came out pretty cool.
